Field problem

Logisall said in its October 30 company blog that it exhibited pooling and returnable packaging at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago, October 18–21. For a Korean exporter considering a North American loop, the question is not whether an exhibit exists but whether the return route works at an acceptable total cost. The scale model’s folding comparison is not evidence of completed returns or measured emissions savings.

Evidence to check

The company explicitly calls the FOLDCON exhibit a scale model reproducing the structure and comparing unfolded and folded heights. It also introduced an RFID-equipped RRPP pallet, the folding steel IBC FOLDPAC, and ST BOX and CombiPAC for automotive parts logistics. A trade article reports the same display largely from the company announcement. Neither source reviewed here supplies North American customer-level trip counts, return rates, loss, cleaning costs or measured carbon outcomes.

Practical deliverable

Export teams should map the return path product by product. Validate FOLDCON folding and loading against a full-size technical specification and carrier approval. For RRPP, test RFID gate reads, data access and missing cross-border events, not merely tag presence. For FOLDPAC, ST BOX and CombiPAC, build separate damage, cleaning, stacking and reverse-logistics cost cases for the actual contents.

Hold conditions

Do not turn a trade-show appearance or product design claim into proof of North American commercial operation, savings or emissions reduction. A model’s folded-height comparison is not a certified transport dimension. Defer procurement decisions and savings percentages until route-level data and product test documents are available.
